The River
Kayaking is my favorite thing to do in the outdoors. Taking pictures of kayaking is my 6th favorite thing to do in the outdoors.
Faces
I’m too shy to get a lot of portraits, but every once in a while I stick my nose in people’s business and come away with a good picture.
The Path
The Appalachian Trail is 2,181 miles long. This year I hiked approximately 90 miles of it on three different trips–a small beginning to what could be a very long journey.
Adventure
Biking, boating, fishing and hiking–no matter what the vehicle, we love getting out in the world to explore.

Portfolio 1: The Grand Canyon
In the winter of 2009 I was invited to join a self-support raft trip down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. It was one of the most amazing wilderness experiences I’ve ever had and a true treat for the camera.
