The folks of Osprey Packs wanted to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Appalachian Trail Days in a special way; so they brought Osprey founder Mike Photenhauer to the festival. Mike hob-knobbed with thru-hikers, repaired old packs, and took in the night-time revelry in the backwoods, and Horizonline PIctures was there to document it all on the fly. The week-long festival included a hiker parade, a water war, a Virginia thunderstorm, and a lot of good barbecue. As Osprey marketing guru Sam Mix said, there was general revelry.
