Chris Gallaway enjoys sad movies, fall colors, big breakfasts, and Tony Hoagland poems. He grew up in three southern metropoli (Atlanta, Nashville, Birmingham)but strangely ended up with an indistinct, western accent. Chris is the benefactor of a robust storytelling tradition on his father's side of the family (mostly fish stories) and a legacy of photography on his mother's side (three generations). It has been a challenge and adventure of Chris's adult life to work at combining these creative disciplines, the visual and the narrative.
Chris founded Horizonline Pictures in 2007 with the release of his first motion picture, The Green Race Movie. Since then, Chris has continued to seek out stories that deal powerfully in the elements of adventure, beauty, and personal relationships. Currently, he is learning new design and image editing software to complement his work in video editing and to broaden the range of services offered by Horizonline Pictures.

Chris does not like picadillo, low-brow comedies, aggressive drivers (except when he's being one), and talking about himself in the third person (sometimes a necessary evil). Chris is most proud of his family: his visual artist parents Craig (watercolor) and Deborah *(photography), who taught him to value creative fulfillment over financial safety, and his two brothers Ben and Zach, who continually amaze him with their artistic talent and their potty humor.
